22 NOV 1987, LATE EVENING. THE SECOND CITY. During a science-fiction serial, a pirate in a rubber mask seized the tower of a public broadcasting station for a minute and a half of gibberish the tapes still cannot explain. He was never caught. He never transmitted again.

The Authority does not forgive the interruption. It forgives the station. AUTHORIZATION: dial the seat that was stolen.
